Ochsenhausen is a town in Germany on the main route of the Upper Swabian Baroque Route, famous for its former imperial Benedictine abbey, today housing the regional academy of music in Baden-Württemberg.
Ochsenhausen is also a thriving business location home to large companies such as Liebherr- Hausgeräte Ochsenhausen GmbH (refrigerators and freezers) and the SÜDPACK packaging GmbH & Co.
In 2010 he local heat supplier Ochsenhausen GmbH & Co KG decided to build a biomass district heating plant to supply the Benedictine Abbey, the school center and other parts of the local area. Our company has been entrusted with the planning and project management.
In 2011 the district heating Ochsenhausen with an output of 4 MW started operating. An additional second phase, extending the output by 4 MW is on the drafting bord. The local heat Ochsenhausen (D) is a pioneering project to help stop climate change!
